Dr. Hrncir brings more than 30 years of experience in allergy and immunology, pediatrics, and aerospace medicine to San Antonio Asthma & Allergy. He is the owner and a practicing physician. Dr. Hrncir began his professional pursuits while in the U. S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He went on to obtain his medical doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. 

Before entering private practice, Dr. Hrncir served as a chief flight surgeon in the United States Air Force. During his 26-year career, he received additional medical education at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland; David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California; The School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas; and Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, also in San Antonio, Texas. As a member of the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Hrncir also held positions as the chief of pediatrics, chief of allergy and immunology, and chief of aeromedical services. Dr. Hrncir welcomes anyone seeking comprehensive care for asthma and allergies to San Antonio Asthma & Allergy.

Nurse Practitioner

NP Trevino Garcia received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1988 from Baylor University. In 1991, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University, and in 1994 received a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. She started her career in rural health, and over the past 26 years has provided care to many individuals in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Endocrinology, Allergy & Asthma, Hepatology, and Women’s Health settings. She also has experience conducting VA disability exams. She began conducting clinical trials in 1999 as a Clinical Research Sub-Investigator, doing Phase I-IV clinical trials involving Hepatitis C, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s, NASH, Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Women’s Health, Obesity, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Allergic Rhinitis, Asthma, Alzheimer’s Disease, Sinusitis, and vaccine developments. NP Trevino Garcia joined our team in October of 2020 and is very excited to help improve the lives of our patients!

Clinical Office Manager/ Referral Coordinator

Jessica has been with San Antonio Asthma and Allergy Clinic for 8 years. Her top priority in our office is patient care and making sure everyone leaves here feeling like family. She loves working with the doctors and staff who take their time with, listen to, and truly care about their patients.

Insurance Specialist/ Medical Assistant

Maria is new to San Antonio Asthma & Allergy Clinic. She is excited to start her new journey as a medical assistant helping our patients along the way preforming administrative as well as clinical duties within our office. She will be here to welcome all of our patients in person or on the phone at the front desk. She will also be assisting the physicians preforming clinical duties.

Insurance Specialist

April is an Air Force veteran with 15 years experience in the medical field and 11 years within the Allergy Department. She is knowledgeable in assisting physicians and clinical staff within the clinic. She loves interacting with patients and always puts patients first. She will help guide patients through billing and available to answer any questions.

Part Time Nurse

Mrs. Longoria brings over 40 years of nursing experience to our clinic. She recently retired from Wilford Hall Allergy Immunization Clinic at Lackland AFB. She bring years of knowledge and experience in the Allergy Department. You will see her in our clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays assisting our physicians to provide excellent care to our patients.

Front Desk Specialist/ Insurance Specialist

Selena has 5 years experience with medical clinics and was the manager at a COVID testing site here in San Antonio. She is knowledgeable in assisting physicians, and in medical billing. You will see her at the front desk verifying insurance coverage and welcoming all of our patients in person and on the phone.
