Immunotherapy Tips

  • There will be a mandatory 30 minute wait for every patient who receives an injection.

  • Please remember to take your antihistamine pill at least 1 hour prior to receiving your IT injection.

  • Notify office staff if you have any issues/delayed reactions to your previous injections.

  • On days you are receiving your injection, avoid extraneous activity/ exercise 2 hours Before and After your injection to prevent a delayed reaction.

  • If you are feeling sick

    • Do Not get your shot. Instead call our office so we can assist you in your next steps..

  • Notify the office staff if you have started any new medications ESPECCIALY heart medications or Beta Blockers.

    ○ If you are on these types of medications Do Not get your shot. Instead call our office so we can assist you in your next steps.

  • If you have asthma and it has become uncontrolled and you have used your inhaler within the last 24 hours.

  • If you have become pregnant or suspect you have become pregnant

    Do Not get your shot. Instead call our office so we can assist you in your next steps.
